SOME OF OUR COURSES
Biology is at the heart of many social and economic issues
By studying biology, students learn to make more informed decisions about their own health and about significant biological issues such as genetically modified crops, the use of antibiotics, and the eradication of invasive species.
Chemistry enables us to understand the properties of different materials and to transform materials into new and useful substances. Through chemistry, we can understand changes that we observe in the natural and physical world.
Physics helps us understand why things in the natural world happen the way they do. … Physicists – and students studying physics – are able to use their understanding to predict how an object will behave under particular conditions, improve the functioning of everyday objects, and envisage totally new developments.
Secondary English Education students complete general education requirements and substantial study in English in the areas of writing, language, and literature as well as pre-professional coursework in education.
